The putlog adaptor, once attached to the end of a tube, creates a putlog transom, which is used on putlog scaffolds and is sometimes referred to as bricklayer’s or single scaffolding, which is a type of scaffold where the building’s wall supports the working platform and negates the need for inside standards (verticals).
