We sell brand-new lightweight aluminium staging boards in eight different lengths of 2.5m, 3.0m, 3.6m, 4.2m, 4.8m, 5.4m, 6.0m, 6.6m and 7.1m with two different widths of 450mm and 600m. They are made with a lightweight aluminium frame and non-slip marine plywood. Each staging platform is manufactured to BS2037 standards, is class one certified and can also be known as a Youngman board. A single staging board provides a load support of approximately 270kg and is mainly used to create a safe working platform on traditional scaffolding, mobile scaffold towers, or builders’ trestles. This product is perfect for use in factories, offshore rigs, outside domestic properties and on construction sites as it is weather- and boil-proof. Ideal for painting, window and roof repairs, rendering, repointing, general maintenance, and repair works at height.

Scaffolding boards are made from European whitewood timber, whereas a staging board is made from marine decking with an aluminium frame.
When using this product with builders’ trestles, you should adjust the trestles to the desired height and space them the correct distance apart. Then, lay the staging board across the gap between each trestle. Handrail supports, where required, should then be installed.
