What is scaffold sheeting?

It protects workers and equipment from rain and wind, allowing work to continue even during the worst weather conditions. Bungee ties or cords are used to secure the Monarflex to the scaffolding tubes.
How long is a roll of scaffold sheeting?
Regardless of width, Monarflex sheeting is available in rolls that are 45m long.
How much does scaffold sheeting weigh?
Our rolls of sheeting weigh approximately 2m (19kg) or 3m (28kg).
What else can scaffold sheeting be used for?
Beyond protecting scaffolds and buildings whilst allowing work to continue through adverse weather conditions, our scaffold sheeting can also be used for privacy around building sites or outdoor events, weed prevention, pond coverage, and sound barriers.
Is scaffold sheeting fireproof?
No, this product is not fireproof; however, we do sell a fire-retardant version.
What is the strength of your standard scaffold sheeting?
This product has a tensile strength (material resistance) of >630N/50mm.
What standards does scaffold sheeting comply with?
This sheeting manufacturing process is certified to meet BS7955:1999 and BS8410:2007 standards.
How is scaffold sheeting installed?
Installation is straightforward: simply fix the Monarflex sheeting to the exterior of any scaffolding or building using elasticated bungee cords, which are threaded through the sheeting’s pre-made holes and then tightly secured around the scaffold tubes. Ensure horizontal application, with the top sheet overlapping the one below, to facilitate external rainwater runoff.
