Unfortunately, our company policy does not allow any of our team to calculate the number of connectors you may need. The main reason is that it is very difficult to figure out exactly how many you would require because every structure is different, and we could easily get it wrong. Also, scaffolding is structural, so you should always consult a structural engineer who will create a drawing/design of the scaffold, and they will work out the quantities for you but be aware this will add considerable costs.
You tighten the nut fixed to this coupler using a traditional handheld scaffolders spanner or an impact wrench.
