A pressed steel double coupler is a load-bearing fitting with a slip resistance of 6.10kN. Double couplers are used to join two scaffold poles in a 90-degree position. Each double weighs approximately 1.0kg, is tested, and conforms to BS 1139 1991, EN74 A standards.
